4-night cultural trip · Two women travelers · April–May 2026
The brief
This plan was built for two women traveling without the family — Divya and Smita Gupta, visiting Dharamsala in late April. The brief was simple: temple, monastery, waterfall, tea gardens, and good food. No complexity. The value is in having every logistics question answered before the trip begins — flight PNRs, hotel confirmation number, taxi operator WhatsApp, day-by-day structure, and dining with primary and backup options for each meal.
The Hyatt Regency Dharamkot is the right choice for two women traveling independently — the property is well-regarded, properly staffed, and sits in the right location between McLeodganj and the lower town.

Day by day
Dining — primary and backup each day
Tibet Kitchen
Consistently top-rated McLeodganj. Veg momos, thukpa, tingmo. Warm and comforting — perfect first-night dinner.
Nick's Italian Kitchen
Great views, excellent vegetarian Italian. More upscale and slower — good if a longer dinner is preferred.
Bodhi Greens
Best vegetarian/vegan café in the region. Organic, clean, Dharamkot vibe. Perfect for long conversations.
Trek and Dine
Amazing mountain views. Israeli and continental vegetarian food. More rustic, view-focused.
Moonpeak Espresso
Great coffee and desserts. Good stop on the way back from Bhagsunag area.
Norling Restaurant
At Norbulingka Institute. Beautiful setting, calm, authentic Tibetan food. One of the most peaceful dining spots on the trip. Lunch on Day 3 perfectly aligned with the Norbulingka visit.
Sunset Point Café, Naddi
Casual, but unbeatable sunset views. Tea and snacks rather than a full meal. Good for the late afternoon on Day 3.
"Every contact confirmed. Every meal planned. That's the standard."
